  hello! I had an ok day!and as you can see,I got a weighing balance!woohoo!no more adjusting the scale(with that yucky weighing scale my mum always insists it works!yes it works but who uses those read off the scale stuff?) my mum bought it for me from Taka.it's really cool. it's like the weighing balance we always use in school but the only difference is that the accuracy is up to 1g. the good thing is that I can weigh stuff in ounces and pounds too!!(yay!and that's where the Professional Baking book the class gave me comes in!) I read this book about chefs becoming Certified Master Chefs in a course by the Culinary Institute of America.it's really cool. they seem quite obsessed with making terrines. (I can't seem to find a suitable description.it's just a very complicated dish which requires a lot of shills,and bla bla bla) ok enough of all my foodie stuff! I went out with my grandma,lill bro and primary 3 sis. so imagine me walking around with them.so uncool right? but anyway,I met my mum there. timothy and nini went to watcht the sesame street show while i went around looking at stuff. I got a weighing balance and a new swimsuit! I like my new swim suit.it's dark blue with red stuff.I wanted to get the gorgeous looking speedo swimsuit but...they didn't have it in my size!argh!it's really nice.black with cool red stuff on top.not flashy at all! so I settled for the arena swim suit. we bought and ate loads of stuff from taka's food hall!absolutely yummy.I'll be mad if I didn't eat them. AND..I have discovered the 2nd best laksa in Singapore.it's Vietnamese Laksa from Vietnam Gourmet.it's hot without any red chilli oil floating about!so so nice! heh. went swimming.quite fun. I made this weird juice thing from beetroot,wheatgrass and green apples.it looks really purple pink.it tastes weird 'cos of the grassy taste and beetroot.thankfully,the green apples saved me.  I had a really jumbled up dinner.it's like weird.can't explain it. ok shan't bore people.bye! 11:45 PM

well,today was a spend-time-with-class-people day. went to the library to get some books.I absolutely love libraries now.I can get all sorts of cookbooks that I can't buy. practicing songs and stuff at P's house was quite ok.fun.but somehow,singing songs of worship and praise didn't make me feel connected to God.actually,I felt weird.but ah heck care. anyway,Pam.your pasta isn't that bad.it's passable. some came over to my place to wrap party packs and prizes.it was fun.we ended pigging out on leftovers aka biscuits,mamee,super ring and sweets. it's fun though. ok off to read my books! 6:15 PM
hello! it's the day after my birthday. oh yes I'M 17!haha=) anyway,I had a very nice birthday,not to mention very very nice birthday presents! me,K and J went to Aiwo at raffles city for lunch.it's a health nut kinda restaurant.the food is not bad!quite yummy=) we ate quite a bit=p we got stuff from The Councourse for class CIP. met up with YY and nana.the rest weren't free.E went mountain climbing.JX had school stuff.BS was too tired to go out. they treated me to dinner.once again,we ate alot!we ate at Bento Box JP and ate icecream at mac after that! haha.imagine all the calories.. I had a very enjoyable birthday=) thanks for the presents.I really like them. my modem was very cranky yesterday.so I couldn't use the internet when I kinda wanted to. Jade with the class present!

I had a nice day although I wasted time by napping. I like the recipe book I got from the library!it has really nice recipes!oh so yummy! I wanted to go the library today but it kept raining!so sadly,I stayed at home the whole time today. anyway,I drew the class CIP camp booklet with the help of my sister,melanie.she drew the kids.I wrote out the words.she coloured the 1st one so I had to redo it.it's kinda plain though. class CIP camp booklet cover  and another thing I did was to cook dinner;pasta.I spent quite a long time(should be around 2 hours?) in the kitchen,considering that I cooked it all by myself.had to chop up vegetable,puree tomatoes,season the meat,and cook them all.it tastes nice=) pasta
yesterday was a nice day. spent the morn,actually the afternoon, in school for some class cip thing.it was quite fun.singing songs of praise and worship in the canteen.haha! trip to orchard library and toast(a cafe) was nice.I've finally paid my fines!!yay!and I borrowed nice recipe books! choclate truffle cake was really really nice!!I love it.shall go there again some time later.

hello!!! I had a very enjoyable day=) church was quite nice.so was lunch.I almost got a bike.I want to go cylcling around my place!!! haha..went to take a nap before getting ready for sec 4 class gathering. people were very late.we missed our stop.so we had to walk all the way back to holland village. haha.CR was complaining like nobody's business! anyway,we ended up eating at Swensons(we should have stayed at Westmall!) dinner was nice. me,weewee,JX and YY sat at one table. oh only 5 gals turned up.E didn't come.she's going to climb another mountain! we ate seafood chowder in a sourdough bread bowl me-black pepper seafood pasta weewee-chicken ham and cheese ommelette YY-Salmon and mushroom baked rice JX-chicken baked rice and...A GIANT EARTHQUAKE!haha.pigs we were=p the nerds left after dinner.it's quite bad of me to label them as so..but it's true they haven't changed much since last year. the rest of us went to play pool at Clementi. me,weewee,YY,JX,CR,Kirb,Jo,ZX and EH. (oh a random thing.ZX wore a PURPLE shirt.oh my goodness.so pukey!) it was really really funny. we gals took one table.we were awfully bad at pool.it was really fun though=) I'm very bad at pool.I think bowling is better! lovely time with them=) what I enjoyed most was meeting up with weewee.I missed her craziness and loud voice. the gals think I've lost weight.but seriously speaking,I think I gained weight. I got home before 12.watched some movie,ate very very nice nasi lemak. happy day. anyway here are some pics. hello! I had a very nice day. I slept really late last night.about 3.45 am.I was gaming.it was nice. anyway,on my way downstairs,I blindly slipped down one step.quite dumb. supermarket trip was quite fun. Dinner at Jumbo Riverwalk was really nice. we had Peking Duck Chilli Crab Black Pepper Crab Fried baby squid Cereal prawns Broccoli,fried with garlic Yam paste with gingko nuts. as usual,I was the last to finish=p anyway,we walked around the area for a while. too bad mel isn't around.she went to camp this morning.I kinda miss her. here are some pics we took.you won't see me.I'm the one taking the pics. cute jared.one of my cousins. I had a nice wonderfully slack day. I basically lazed around,read fanfiction and slept.haha! anyway,I made burritos for dinner.I made the tortilla skins from scratch.quite easy really. they're really yummy. kidney bean puree.ground beef with onions.lettuce.cherry tomatoes.shredded cheddar cheese. I think only my sis,mel, likes it alot.the rest don't seem to like mexican food very much. well,I like it. my food photography skills are improving,isn't it?  9:15 PM

today was a fun day=) woke up kinda early.and almost everyone was late for our CIP meeting. we went out for lunch together. then me,K,WH and gnet went to watch Harry potter. heh.I think K is the funniest person to watch a movie with.haha! oh if anyone is curious,Ms K.Chan didn't sit with WH.he coincidently found a friend sitting along the same row. the movie was quite nice.a couple of hotties. MRT trip home was quite ok.crapped with WH. my mum made a bean bag yesterday!  8:30 PM

today is a pigging out day. ate lots of stuff at marche.me and K shared 2 salads,rosti with sour cream and a chicken kebab.so yummy!!!! K's bday outing was quite fun. daytona with more than 5 people is damn fun.bowling too.although most of us(well some of us) threw gutterballs.it was really fun! I found stuff to buy!yay! fake birks.jeans.bag. tml is going to be another eat alot day!outing with JJ best buds!oh yeah! HAPPY BIRTHDAY,KARMEN! muacks..love ya lots. argh I have to find time to make pumpkin pudding before the pumpkin in the fridge rots. OH!I saw a chocolate temperer at Godiva(citylink mall) for your infomation,it'a a machine that melts chocolate and controls the temperature of the chocolate. and yes,I am totally fascinated by that piece of machine. 8:45 PM

oh yay! pw is over.no more pw!!!!!!!!!! haha..Op wasn't exactly very bad.I screwed up Q&A though.but it doesn't matter.I'm quite happy with our group's performance. K was very good.S wasn't fierce for once.B was quite ok.we almost thought he'll be over the limit.WH was not bad too.he emphasized certain parts. anyway the whole pw thing was fun in a way. Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao's la mian soup was weird.definitely not the usual. I didn't manage to get anything new from JP.sadly.shall put together something to wear for K's bday outing to sentosa. I'm going on an exercise regime.so I can fit into stuff. I baked apple mystery dessert.that's what the book calls it 'cos they don't know what to classify it under.either a cake,pudding or pie.well to me,it's a cake.  11:45 PM

I'm lazy! I did nothing much really. I hanged around JP for sometime 'cos JX was kinda late.she can fit the shirt=) I'm quite happy with the stuff I bought from JP. something happened at home.  "why u don't want to bathe down stairs?" said me."because there's a woman with no eyes,no nose in the bathroom.I scared.so I always go upstairs to bathe."said my prmary 3 sis,melanie. so let's see what's in the bathroom. ------------> haha and what did we see? a watermark on the window which really looks like a woman's head! me and the other sisters were laughing our heads off! "aiya!wipe it off can already!"said us(the elder sisters) "I wiped before already.it won't go away.there's a ghost!"said my lil sis,melanie. haha!outrageously funny! my day was nice. I couldn't wake up early.but still I got to Ang Mo kio MRT on the dot=) PW was fine.slack and funny as always.one group came over too!D,HY,C,Liz,mandy. it was fun. I bought JX's present already!actually,it's due long time ago.oops!it was on impulse.I just walked in and grabbed it. dinner was nice.takeout. mama,papa,popo and didi aren't home yet. nothing more to say! oh I'm a happy person.lame..I know.. 11:00 PM

it has been a quiet slack and happy day for me. I did nothing very important.I lazed around.watched a couple of movies. it's quite relaxing really. tml will be pw day again.argh! I think I'm having a green tea overdose.from tasting all the stuff whilst I make the green tea ice cream.plus when I couldn't wait for the ice cream to be ready I made a green tea frappe.oh my..but the smell of green tea is so nice.it can be quite intoxicating really.yummy! extremely yummy green tea ice cream!  ok off to random surfing again!8:30 PM

hah.my sis is playing ultra candy sweet cyndi wang songs.and others.. I was damn early for PW.even K was late..PW was quite fun although we didn't present the whole thing and we stayed for a very long time in school. lil outing to taka with Hl and J was fun. lots of food.green tea powder.books. oh I love it. I'm gonna make green tea ice cream eh tml?I guess. I've found an ultra cool book to get. actually I change my mind.I want another book.but they are all so expensive!all are above hundred bucks.shall find someone to buy it for me. ok off to searching for the perfect green tea recipe and baking books! I read an quote from some book I browsed thru at Kino.it's about how a fantastic batch of cookies does not mean I'm a great baker.it some how urges me to do something more.something more intensive.more advanced.more complicated. argh!this is so much harder than studying.but I quite like the challenge... I made lemon curd crepe cake with the help of my elder sis.it tastes really yummy!  my sis's laptop crashed in the middle of the night.I hope it'll be fine.it contains important notes.I got a couple of books from the church's thrift shop.shall go read them all later. my day was good.very nice really. my cousins came over.vanessa,charmaine,ryan,vincent,vivien,baby sabrina...and the rest of my aunts and uncles. supermarket trip was fun.bought tons of choc chip 'cos they were on (a super duper cheap great) offer.guess that brings out the Singaporean streak in me.bought cheese to bake quiche!we're making sushi one day.so yummy! I NEED A CASHCARD! to pay my library fines. I've decided not to rot at home all the time.eating and sleeping like a pig and growing fat. I'm gonna do something more productive which is to read stuff.someone,lend it to me. oh the card should at least have $7.10.fines from a billion years ago. I love being with my cousins!even though they're much younger than me.they're all in either secondary school or primary school.but it's really fun being with them.laughing,playing and everything.we went swimming.it was so fun!heh.trying to capsize the boat.almost broke my back.great workout though. I need to start working out.I realised something in the morn that made me want to lose those extra pounds. my grandfather is staying with us till he goes to shanghai with my aunts.he came all the way from Ipoh.I'm quite happy he came. ok off to random surfing. 9:30 PM

ok.I've been searching for culinary classes since like ages ago. The classes I want are either fully booked,over or cancelled.but I got a chocolate workshop next year.it's like in advance. Guest Chef Patrick Heuberger, Au Petit Salut. Les Petit Four: 'Chocolate Workshop' using Valrhona An introduction to chocolate work, including preparation of ganache, tempering chocolate couverture, basic fashioning & finishing of truffles with candied orange peel, marzipan, almonds & hazelnuts. so cool yea?but I gotta wait till like feb 2006. I should be signing up for another one which is french cuisine.fun=) most cooking schools don't do much hands on stuff.so I'm trying to search for more. geog lecture was boring but bearable.oh A forgot that we had lect and didn't come.haha!Lynn was weird.he happily randomly pointed me out to the entire arts faculty and called me baker mama(K started calling me that a few weeks before) heh.he were talking about some layers of the earth.weird person. sorry for not updating. although it's the hols,I'm feeling awfully lazy.so lazy that I even don't wanna go upstairs to use the com. the 1st week of the hols are pretty ok. hmm..I can't really remember what I did.. oh I just remembered! chinese a levels on monday.how boring.it wasn't that bad afterall.mini class outing(kind of) was fun in a way. oh pam your cheesecake wasn't that bad .my family and I ate it up quite happily. Tuesday's day out with my family was fun=) ate really nice stuff.and bought a new tee from espirit.and the shirt is GREEN! heh.never knew I would ever buy a green tee.but it's cute.I like it.my younger sis mel bought the blue version. PW meeting on wed was slack but fun.haha.tickling people.finding out more about B(eg weird way of eating instant noodles..haha!)talking to K was nice too..slacking in coffee bean! and playing arcade!haha!more daytona next time! I sawBQ! briefly.he didn't see me though!he looks so much different from last time.nice change.haha.long-ish hair which is all spiked up.how cute! haha=p movie with YY was quite enjoyable.we watched the legend of zorro.Catherine Zeta Jones is so pretty!
